MARTHA ANDREW

Metalsmith, Mama and MarMar Boutique Owner.  Martha, aka MarMar, got her start selling pretty rocks, leaves and onion grass off of her front sidewalk when she was six.  From the sidewalk to a beautiful store on Block Island, She has gone on to represent the works and wares of over 300 metalsmiths and craftspeople in her past 18 years of owning MarMar Boutique.

A metalsmith herself, MarMar uses the ancient technique of chasing and repoussé to create her high-relief work in Sterling Silver, Bronze and Gold.  When she does find a rare moment to steal away to her studio, she enjoys making larger statement pieces that will be noticed.
