Master bead maker and local fisherwomen Martha Nunez and her daughter Mercy, have traveled all over, from the Caribbean Sea to the Indian Ocean, and everywhere in between to collect the most exquisite shells for the finest of jewelry. Many of these beautiful shells such as Conch, Abalone, Giant clam and Great Green Turban have all been incorporated into their designs. Martha and Mercy are very skilled water women, world travelers and most of all quintessential Cape Codders, when not at work with the ocean, they will still be found playing by the waves.
