PYRUS CREATIONS

Born in Rhode Island, Seanna Poirier has been creating and working with her hands since childhood. Whether it be drawing, ceramics, painting, or jewelry design she was consistently making. The tedious nature of art was always very meditative and allowed her busy mind to rest and create.

Majoring in metalsmithing/jewelry design at Rhode Island College, she graduated with a Bachelors in the Fine Arts degree in 2016. Since then, Seanna has been working in the jewelry field as a bench jeweler with fellow artists. Creating her own work for the brand Pyrus Creations during her free time in her studio.

Seanna is heavily influenced by the natural world and tends to focus around her obsessions with insects and gemstones. The actual process in which she works also gives way to the approach she will take. Often getting lost in the making and seeing where designs take her.
