This pair of bold beauties were inspired by 1970s era socialite like a Nan Kempner, who kept coming to mind while I made them. They’re somehow both saucy and aristocratic at the same time. Park Avenue meets disco. Luscious Marquise Garnets with their precarious twin slopes made setting them a precise art; each gold braid gold pulled and flattened and fused to thick gold bands worked into bold curves. A thoroughly retro-modern heirloom for the ages.
