Stacking Barnacle Cuff

These stacker cuffs are a labor of love. The barnacles are hand carved in wax, cast, molded and recast, then soldered onto hand-hammered, wire cuffs. Each bracelet is then hand filed, sanded and polished to a perfect, textural finish. The natural beauty of the coast is as awe inspiring as it is healing. Like most of my work, these cuffs are inspired by the power of that beauty. When worn they are a constant reminder to our connection with the coast, and they become a talismanic object of grounding and meditation. I am told that if you close your eyes while wearing it, you can hear the sound of the tides rolling in and out through time.
