Amethyst is the stone of clarity, calm and sobriety of mind. The ancient greek antidote to excess in all its forms.They named it Amethystos, meaning, "not drunk!" This lovely pendant is a brilliant orchid purple— bright and alive— set backwards in a portrait frame of 22k gold, its faceted back, left open to catch light through the stone, like a stained glass window, and can be worn either way. I call her Focus, to harness a skill worth cultivating, with or without the help of wine, no judgment here.
